Yes, that lil' prick is really that annoying. Let me give you some examples:
SH goes to the mountain to search for his parents and everyone there wanted to kill him or get his Kun Peng technique. One guy even suggested he give his throne to his lil' bro.🙄 All SH wanted was to find his parents and his grandpa, and since everyone treats him as the biggest enemy, he has no choice but to fight back. Guess what? The spoiled brainless bro of his came out to fight him and was angry at him for hurting his "clansmen". He even ignored SH's question about their gramps. SH has evidence that their gramps had been there and even fought with the ppl there but his bro couldn't even care less.

Btw, SH's parents are another brainless couple. The Qin Clan ask them to have another kid, telling them that the next kid "might" have a supreme bone and can therefore save their older child. They actually stupidly believed the Qins and when the younger son was born, they named him "Shi Hao"! 🤦‍♂️ The conniving Qin clan took their son away and renamed him Qin Hao. So, he was raised and brainwashed by the Qin clan all the while knowing that the Qin Clan were imprisoning his parents. The parents only get to see their son only when that spoiled brat remembers to visit them.

What truly made me mad was when SH gave QH his supreme bone just before he died (yes, our MC died!) and that ungrateful prick never even thanked his bro. When the news about him inheriting a bone from his dead bro spreads, he was actually mad. The Qins even tried to brush it away saying that it's just a rumour. He like the rest of the Qins never wanted to acknowledge SH's existence.

Yeah ungrateful, brainwashed, self-entitled, self-centred, self-righteous, selfish is what he is, thinks he can beat Shi Yi, even when Shi Hao says he isnt his match, doesnt believe him and tries lol

Their parents are, sigh, too blinded by their guilt of leaving Shi Hao then finding out what happened to him, of course being dumb doesnt help. Shi Hao was very lenient to the Qin Clan lol, but he didnt care after, the only family member that truly cared for Shi Hao is the grandfather, in fact non family members cares more for Shi hao, like the maid

Like how stupid can she be when she was scared of the 30% risk of her younger son dying while her older son will 100% die if they don't do anything. Not to mention, she was actually concerned about how QH would feel if they ask for his supreme bone. Seriously? They left their dying infant son in the hands of some strangers without even thinking perhaps.. it might be good if one of them stays behind, and now they once again left him dying on his deathbed just because there's a small chance that their younger son might be hurt.

But what is even more ridiculous is that she suddenly screamed, "Son, please don't die" after SH ripped out his supreme bone. I was like.. hello, did you only now realise that your son is dying? Lol!! **smh

I won't be so upset if both of them at least put in some efforts trying to save their dying son, even if they know SH would never agree. That spoiled half stone never intended to give his bone away in the first place. He was being passive aggressive when he overheard his dad's half-hearted determination and his dumb mum fell for that.

lol Bear in mind his parents spent more time with Qin Hao than with Shi Hao, so the parental love for Qin Hao will be much more than Shi Hao, and in this case the younger one is the favoured one, probably they perceive that Qin Hao is more vulnerable. They sure spoiled him badly, I never felt anything when he died, I felt more for Shi Yi

It's actually a sad arc but as usual with all the Chinese authors, they just love to drag out the main characters' death scene. So when SH was mortally injured, he still manages to go to Immortal Mountain hoping to see his parents one last time. Of course when the parents saw his dire conditions, they immediately give him the divine medicine that SH gave them as a reunion gift. The followers from the Shi Kingdom and the Stone villagers also gather all kinds of herbs and medicine hoping to cure their emperor. All these medicines manage to let him live for a few more days. The longer he lives, the more medicine they shove down his throat. Unfortunately, none of those medicine could cure him and he dies eventually.

Now, that's where the plot armour comes in (but I accept that as the explanation is halfway logical). The herbs and medicine that he took acted in his dead body together with his supreme bone blood and his supreme bone skill: resurrection. Although he gives away his supreme bone to his jackass bro, his body still retains traces of supreme bone blood. His second supreme bone's main ability is resurrection (imo, the name is confusing because the ability has nothing to do with resurrection, it just has the power to bridge or alter the river of time - it can make a person travel back in time or to the future hence making them aged or turning them to a child).

Another catalyst for his resurrection is a divine sparrow that he knew from childhood. That sparrow collected some undecaying grass seeds from god-knows-where and the grass helps preserve his body from decaying. So what do you get when you combine divine medicine, resurrection ability and undecaying grass together? > voila.. a resurrected Shi Hao!

As for his lil' tosser brother, he is hardly relevant. At the very end of the story, he and Shi Yi sacrifice themselves and give their supreme bone back to Shi Hao, to enable him to fight the big villain. It is an atrocious ending to be honest. Almost everyone dies except SH and that is actually the prophecy he got when he was still cultivating: he would stand alone at the very summit of the universe as the last winner and everyone else that he loves and cares for, will die. Yes there are a lot of ninja-cutting-onions moments in the last part of the novel. I didn't heed the advice from Dase and binge-read the novel and it left me angry and disgruntled.

So Sh went through all that shit for nothing..cause they were alive and happy whiles he was fighting for his life each time only to find them and for them to be dumb as rock...and can't see there second son attitude is trash..so that means one of them could have stayed with but instead chose to abandoned him technically and made another son and called him the same name while the other is still alive...thos he still talk to the mother and father and how do they get on after he dies

Yes, you nailed it. SH went through all that shit for nothing. The parents actually saw the whole fight and even had the face to tell him not to be angry with his lil' brother. The name they gave their second son literally screams "replacement".

You would be boiling mad when you read the novel. SH was injured and nearly killed because he was trying to fight off invaders from the upper realm who wanted to suppress and conquer the lower realm. Everyone is thankful for his heroic and sacrificial action except of course the Qin Clan and the Three Big Sects muppets.

After the final battle, SH actually goes back to the Immortal Mountain just to see his parents one last time, knowing that his injury is incurable. The moronic Qin clan tries to kill him when he is already dying just because they don't want him to get a supreme bone from QH. SH could have been saved if QH was willing to donate his bone to heal his injury but of course, he was too selfish and their dumb parents were too biased to make that call.

Btw, QH was not born with any supreme bone but rather the Qins treat him like a guinea pig and they implant a bone in his body.

So back to the Immortal Mountain, their assassination attempt is then foiled by the loyal kings from the Shi Kingdom who came to bring SH home. Those kings are of course furious with the Qins and guess what, the lil prick actually comes out and tries to fight his brother's followers. I mean how low can he get when he can't even stand up against those people who just tried to kill his dying brother, instead decided to protect the gang of imbeciles.

And yet with his dying breath, SH still gives QH his supreme bone knowing fully well that his brother actually covets it. So, yeah so much of unfairness but of course our MC still rises above everyone else despite all the sufferings and struggles.

so basically, SH's effort to return to his parents' embrace will be bullshitted ... poor SH, he was even forced to make that bicc YC his concubine.. ahh still love my lady Ling-er .. what a letdown that the author was also deliberately making ling-er weak

But if you were to read the novel, this is the part where some fans were concerned about the authorreplacing Shi Hao with Qin Hao when he gave his lil’ brother his supreme bone before he died. But thank God, the concerns were unfounded. This is just one of the gazillions times where the author deliberately made the MC suffer. I don’t want to spoil you too much but do prepare yourself for a very tragic story of a tortured MC climbing to the apex of the universe all by himself.
